Purple Pinkie Project

Carroll Fowler students rallied together to support the Purple Pinkie Project with the Ceres Rotary Club. Over the course of one week, students and staff raised over $1000 to help! Each $1 earned allowed a child in need to receive a Polio vaccine, helping to end the spread of the disease. The students of Carroll Fowler wore purple clothing and even painted their pinkies purple, as they do in the countries that are administering the shots and mouth drops, to signify another life saved from Polio. Thank you to Ceres Rotary for educating our community about this need and allowing us to be a part in helping to end Polio.

Summer School

This year we will only have one session of Elementary Summer School from June 4th - June 29th. The second session, commonly referred to as "Early Back," has been cancelled for the summer of 2012. If your child is eligible for Summer School, you will receive an enrollment form in the mail. To enroll your child, simply sign and return the form to your child's teacher. How Can We Help Carroll Fowler?

Box Tops For Education	Clip and save Box Tops for Education! Send them to school with your child and Carroll Fowler Elementary will earn cash. Each Box Tops logo is worth 10 cents. You can find Box Tops logos on: General Mills products, Betty Crocker® products, and Ziploc products. The Box Top Box is inside the cafeteria next to the Lost & Found, or have your student give them to their teacher.
Save Mart SHARES	Save Mart Supermarkets is sponsoring a fundraiser for local schools.  Each Carroll Fowler family will receive one SaveMart SHARES card, where 3% of all of your purchases made with the card will go back to our school. Your card is good at all SaveMart, S-Mart, FoodMaxx and Lucky locations. Happy shopping!
E-scrip	Sign up for eScrip and earn money for Carroll Fowler! The process is simple: Log onto www.eScrip.com or click on the banner above. Enter the School or Group I.D. (Carroll Fowler's ID is 500023926.) You can register all of your debit and credit cards and your specialty cards, like your Macy's card and your Safeway Club Card. Use your eScrip registered cards for all your purchases or shop at eScrip merchants! A percentage of purchases will be automatically contributed by the merchant. That’s it! It’s that easy----you and your family shops-our school earns dollars.
Recycle Old Electronics	We are collecting electronic items that you  no longer need or are replacing .   Please place cell phones, DVD’s ,DVD players, laptop computers, GPS devices, digital picture frames, digital cameras, video game consoles, i pods and MP3 players that you don’t need anymore in the green box by the office. These items do not need to be in working order. The box is labeled.  We mail them in and we get a check back for our wonderful Renaissance Program.  Every little contribution helps.  Talk to your relatives, neighbors and friends and collect their older electronic devices and cell phones.
